MISSION
Connecting and supporting prevention initiatives in
York County that focus on the prevention of violence
and abuse and the promotion of health and well being.

PURPOSE
The coordinating council has been meeting since February 2006. Benefits of the York County Prevention Collaborative include:

g Increased efficiency and effectiveness of prevention     initiatives

g Supports collective advocacy for prevention efforts,     programs and initiatives in York County

g Provides access to shared information, resources,     communication and training

g Offers collaborative project design and grant     application opportunities
